Are You Ready For Some Football?
It’s time once again for the annual fall classic premier gridiron event at Malinak Stadium … Powder Puff football. On Monday Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. girls from the Central Mountain senior class will face-off with the junior class in the fall classic fund-raiser event to benefit the Wildcat baseball and softball programs. Ticket prices are $3 for students and $5 for adults.
The teams will be preparing for the game over the next week with guys from the Wildcat football team coaching their respective class mates along with the assistance of several volunteer faculty members. The game is highlighted by showcasing some of the most talented athletes familiar to area sports fans that will also include many more ladies that come out and participate in this single sporting event. Pride and bragging rights are on the line. While the seniors have the benefit of experience in the event, history has shown that anything can and does happen in the games over the years. The only certainty involved is it will be a fun, enjoyable event focusing on camaraderie and sportsmanship.
If you like football played with spirit be sure to attend. You won’t be disappointed.
